Business priorities to watch in 2024

As the world continues to experience economic challenges and evolve, leaders across industries must keep an eye on new technology and the right priorities to support business growth. These are a few we are focused on at 369 Global.

Artificial intelligence

AI is everywhere; in some cases, it can work well, but it doesn’t quite hit the mark in others. One example is auto-generating key materials like the tried and true press release. While an AI tool might produce a reasonably well-written draft, in all likelihood, it will miss the mark on including tight sound bites and any nuances because human touch is required.

While AI and machine learning have been making waves for more than a decade, we are seeing more and more opportunities to create and intelligently automate the customer experience as well as internal operations. I encourage you to look at all of the tools out there and consider what might benefit your organisation.

An equal focus on soft skills

The challenging state of the world and heavy news headlines have shown all business leaders that hard and soft skills truly have equal importance in the business world. At 369 Global, this is a crucial consideration when we hire. We need to ensure our team is ready to hit the ground running from an execution standpoint. Still, it’s critical the leaders on our team have high empathy, emotional intelligence, and the right lived experience to coach and guide the team on projects big and small.

Diversity and inclusion

Diversity and inclusion are the primary factors we’ve built  369 Global around, and they continue to be a key consideration in all we do. We focus on recognizing and celebrating as many key calendar dates as possible and encouraging education amongst the team. Cultural awareness and exposure are valuable leadership traits, and as the composition of our nation continues to change, we tap into global talent for local economic benefits.

There are many things to consider as we look towards a new fiscal year. I encourage you to consider the pillars I’ve mentioned to optimise employee success and profitable business outcomes.
