How We’re Supporting Others During COVID-19

One of the core tenets of my life has always been to remember those who helped you succeed. Between the influence of my great uncle Muhandiram Narayar and my time working with the noble prize laureate Muhammad Yunus, I do my best to live by this mantra and pay it forward through a wide number of charities and initiatives.

Keep reading below to see just a few of the programs that the Srinarayanathas Foundation has launched to support the disadvantaged.

Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital

Holland Bloorview is an exceptional organization that treats the children most in need and is at the forefront of pediatric medicine.

I firmly believe that children deserve all the love and support in the world. The Srinarayanathas Foundation put this belief into action by working with The AppLabb to donate $20,000 to Holland Bloorview and help with their treatments.

Feeding Medical Staff with iFORCE Foundation

We all appreciate our medical staff now more than ever, but I am blessed to view their courage of compassion first-hand through my partner, Dasha, who goes in every day to serve her community.

To show our sincere appreciation for what they do, my team and I were proud to collaborate with iFORCE Foundation to provide lunch and dinner meals for the staff at Markham-Stouffville Hospital.

Supporting Families in Sri Lanka

COVID-19 isn’t just striking us here in Canada—it’s leading to food and funding shortages all over the world.

My roots in Sri Lanka and the lessons of my family will always be in my heart. This is why we partnered with one of our grantees, comdu.it, to raise $100,000 and feed more than 7,000 families across the country.

Community support is a value that was instilled in me by my family, friends, and neighbours, and I am blessed to be in a position where I can give back to all those who have helped me find success.
